Do you really know Oxford? Would you like to discover it with us?

Oxford is a city situated in the west of London at about 60 miles away from the capital .We left at 7.30 a.m from Margate and we arrived at 10.30. It was a long way. The journey took us almost 3 hours.

oxford museumThe natural History Museum was big.

There was such a beautiful architecture with painted

steel arches and large windows !

Inside the museum, there were some dinosaurs.

We studied one with Mrs. Ramey.

It was so very interesting. We looked for a “Trilobit”.trilobit

Next, we ate in front of the museum. After we walked through the city, passing by small colleges like Keble College which was a lovely little one, Wadham College and the Radcliffe Camera which is a library.

chirst-church-collegeWe visited Christ Church which is the biggest one and the most famous University College in Oxford . It looks like Harry Potter‘s school!

All the colleges have the same architecture with a garden, a hall for dining, a chapel, a library and they have a square shape.

At around 3 p.m we had two hours to do some shopping in the city centre.

For shopping, Oxford is the ideal place.

At 5 p.m we came back to the bus and we arrived at 9 p.m at Margate.

We loved Oxford because the University colleges were fascinating

and everything looks so different from our country. We advise you go there.
