Walking through London

Walking through London

Would you like to visit the capital of England ?

London is situated in the South East of Great Britain. London is the capital and biggest city of the United Kingdom. It was built by the Romans. Its old name is Londinium. London is dynamic and very culturally diverse. It is also an important place for tourist destinations. It welcomes 27 million people a year.

We stayed a long time on the bus. In London we had to walk a lot. We stopped at Victoria Embarquement. We shared into four groups of twelve for example The Renaud Team who were the nicest and the Nicod Team who were the hottest, there were The Renaud boys and the Renaud girls too.

We saw Buckingham Palace and after we ate in front of it in the Mall. We saw the Queen’s Guards. The guards were marching in the Mall. But to see them, we had to run fast ! It’s called the Changing of the Guard.

During fifteen minutes, we stayed at Trafalgar Square. We saw a man who was juggling with some knives at Covent Garden.

On Westminster Bridge, we took some photos of the Parliament and famous Big Ben. We had a look at the London Eye but we didn’t go there. We saw red buses, London taxis, called cabs.

We saw lot of beautiful monuments like the Prime minister’s house: 10 Downing Street in Whitehall. They were many people in front of it.

Unfortunately, we didn’t do any shopping. London’s worth visiting, we feel like going back there again. Although we walked a lot, we had a great time in London.
